My name is Haoran Wang and my friends like to call me William. Came from China and chose to continue education at Purdue University – it has been the best decision I have made thus far. After spending two years participating in the campus activities, I decide to become more involved. Love refitting vehicles, shooting micro film and being a service event volunteer. Lastly, hope to continue campus involvement and make a difference as a student senator!
Hello! I’m Jordan Leising and I’m a sophomore in Industrial Engineering. I’m born and raised in Indiana and went to high school in a small town called Bluffton. While here at Purdue, I’ve been involved in the Purdue Engineering Student Council, University Residential Life, and Purdue Catholic Students. I’m really excited about the opportunity to represent the engineering population about important issues on our campus.
I have strong fascination to bring a change for the welfare of students I can contribute my best to both, academics and extra-curricular activities arena. My objective is to obtain a challenging position in the senate. My goals are relatively simple – to put in sustained and sincere effort to absorb the maximum knowledge from the best in the field. It may be a little early in the day to talk of long-term goals. My immediate goals are to be involved with the latest and bring a positive change…
I strongly believe that together we can make the difference. TODAY PURDUE, TOMORROW THE WORLD.
